These are the real deal, the vintage African padre beads in a lovely corn yellow. They got their name due to the resemblance of the beads worn by missionaries. These have been in our collection for nearly 50 years, and just how much older they are, we cannot tell. The color in the photo shows them to be more of a brighter chartreuse than they actually are. They are more of a sweet corn color for lack of a better description. Age has given them a satiny finish. These beads have holes large enough to be used with thicker cord. They are $2.50 for ten beads.
