These richly hued Czech glass beads are a most unusual and special color. The camera failed to pick up the nature of the color, but its best described as a deep pomegranate kernal color. We tried one with flash and one without, but the beauty of these beads isn't for the camera. They are particularly special because the deep cranberry color is the result of the addition of pure gold to the glass. Gold, when dissolved in glass yeilds a color called "gold ruby" which we describe as cranberry or pomegranate. There is no way to fake this color. We're thrilled to have a little stash of these to offer at $4 for 20 beads.
