These strikingly colored Czech glass beads need a bit of work to describe. The base color is a potent opaque parrot, olive-ish green which the camera shows as more of a lighter chartreuse than in reality. Each was coated with a mottled finish referred to as a "picasso" finish, then a band of this finish at the equator is cut away to reveal the color benieth. In so many words, they are parrot green rondelles, capped with a picasso finish. They are 8mm at the equator and are 6mm thick. They would make striking, earthy-bright earrings, bracelets or as spacers in a necklace. They are $3 for 10 beads.
