These beautifully earthy Czech glass beads do require some description. The base color is a parrot, olivey green. The photo shows them to be lighter, and more of a chartreuse than they actually are. Each bead gets a coating of a speckled finish referred to as a "picasso" finish. Then the finish is cut away at the equator of each bead to reveal the color below. This gives them picasso caps with a striking parrot green as a band around the middle. These are referred to as "center cut" beads for this reason. They are $3.50 for ten beads.
